At Weldamania, our journey is rooted in resilience, curiosity, and the relentless pursuit of excellence. As an immigrant arriving in America, I, like many others, faced the challenge of finding my identity in a new world. From a young age, I was endlessly curious about how things worked. No answer was ever enough — so I took matters into my own hands, often dismantling every toy I owned just to figure out how to fix them. That curiosity laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for engineering and fabrication.
I began my college journey studying Mechanical Engineering, but halfway through, I realized that my heart belonged not in the classroom, but in the workshop. I made the bold decision to pivot and enrolled in a program for Applied Welding Technology at Santa Fe College, There, I discovered my true calling.
The idea for Weldamania was born in 2017, shortly after earning my degree in welding. I spent the next few years gaining hands-on experience in CNC machining and precision fabrication across industries like aerospace, marine, and unmanned vehicle systems. Each role sharpened my skills and prepared me for greater challenges.
In 2021, with the support of Operation HOPE’s 1 Million Black Businesses initiative in corporation with Truist Bank, and even the NFL, I took a leap of faith and launched Weldamania. We started humbly in a small garage with just a few essential tools. Through determination, grit, and a commitment to quality, we quickly outgrew multiple workshop spaces.
Today, in 2025, Weldamania stands as a testament to growth through passion, skill, and community support. We’re proud to serve our clients with innovative fabrication solutions — but even more, we’re proud of the journey that brought us here.
